Hi,
I have a table in DB which has BLOB as one of the columns, now my task is to write code in when-button-pressed such a way that when the button is pressed the file in blob should pop up on the screen it can be anything i mean it could be image, pdf or a word.
I should be able to display the BLOB.
I am using oracle 10g and forms 10g.

Thank You.

Is this a student exercise or a work exercise?

Search this forum for 'display blob'.

Don't start new threads for the same subject.

Save the pdf to a 'temp' file and then open that file.

Have you solved your problem?

Yes, you have to attach webutil to your form. This information is in the webutil documentation at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/forms/htdocs/webutil/webutil.htm
