hi

8i to 20g using export it should be 10g.

You can import first from oracle 8i through original import utilities.

and
export in Oracle 10g. through original export utilities.

like
Oracle 8i
cmd>exp system/oracle full=y

Oracle 10g.
cmd>imp system/oracle

or the import tool itself take care of it?

Import operation create all tables.

YOu have to create if tbs is not exists in Oracle 10g. then first create tbs then perform ur operation.( import)
