dear sir
i have tried to install oracle9i AS infrasctructure on a windows xp setup on a workgroup called "workgroup", it says that the computer name need to be fully qualified with the domain name /which i dont have / or to edit the hosts file, i edited the hosts file still getting the same error
please help gurus

Check the domain name in SQLNET.ORA file ..
