Hi,
Whenever more number of users conected to my database,they couldn't able to connect.I think this problem is only because of dedicated server configuration.
can anyone help me how to enable shared server configuration in oracle 10g?
I've read some documentation it's all shows that need set the parameters in the init.ora file.
shared_servers=value
dispatchers=value

And change the server mode as shared in tnsnames.ora file. Is there anything else need to add or change? Please help.Thanks in advance.

This should provide all the configuration information required Configuring Oracle Database for Shared Server.

What error are the users getting? Do you see any errors listener.log file?
