Hi,

I am using 9.2.0.1.0 database with solaris 5.9 os.
1. i want to increase the sessions and processes in init file
2. shall i increase any kernel parameters in the /etc/system file for sessions and processes to increase.

Why are you telling us your plans/desires? Proceed & do it.

It depends upon their present values & to what value you choose for #1 above.

P.S.
You don't have to change both; one is derived from the other.
