Hi all,
I had a clean HPUX 11i system. I went into the system and wanting to install ORACLE 9.2.0.6. I was given a file from another engineer which said patchset for ORACLE 9.2.0.6 and I installed that using run Installer. Now I realised that what I
did is just install the patchset and now I havent installed Oracle 9.2.0.1. I tried to deinstall 9.2.0.6 R2 patchset but I am not able to that.
Will this have any impact if I now install 9.2.0.6.
Also after I install 9.2.0.1 then will the system automatically understand that the patchset for ORACLE 9iR2 patchset 9.2.0.6 is already installed and it will automatically take it to that version.
Please reply.
