Hi,

I'm getting an error "ORA-12557: TNS:protocol adapter not loadable" while trying to connect to the DB instance, after a fresh installation.

The DB is running in Oracle 10gR2 (under Windows 2003 Server). Installation and instance creation completed successfully without any errors.

Please help.

Did you configured propely SQL*NET? Try to execute command
#tnsping database_name
If this program gie error - this seem that you must to configure SQL*NET(edit tnsmanes.ora, listener.ora etc.).
