hi. i need some help on a few basic questions about oracle for my class at a school. any help would be appreciated...thanks

1) What exactly is Oracle? What does it do/ used for?
2) Is it compatable with mySql, Access, etc?
3) What are some specifications for the user?
4) Is it user-friendly?

Oracle is a data container, technically called database which stores the information.
It is compatible with mySQL,Access.
Users can go throgh white papers and documentation available in Oracle site oracle.com
Oracle provides GUI in the form of Forms & Reports
